WHERE DO I REGISTER TO VOTE:-
Visit your nearby election office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and complete a registration form. You can register to vote online at Vote.gov or NationalVoterRegistrationDay.org by completing a form giving some basic individual details.
If you’re already registered, you can also use these portals to record a change of name or address. Failure to do so might invalidate your ballot.
WHO CAN VOTE:-

- 18 years old or older on or before the next election.
- Citizen of the United States.
- Convicted felons and non-citizens are ineligible.

Your voter registration confirmation card lists the area of your polling place. If you’ve lost your card, call your local election director to find where to vote or for federal/state elections.

THE POLLING PLACE:-
Before you will be allowed to get a ballot, you should display a present ID. If you don’t have photo ID with your name on it, you can provide a present utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, voter confirmation notice, government check or other government documents that show your name and current location.
You will enter a private voting booth or station. Directions on denoting your ballot are posted in the booth or station and are on the ballot.
On the off chance that you don’t have any of the things recorded above, you can still vote to request and filling out a “Polling Place Elector ID” form.
After voter registration, your local election office will send you a polling card confirming your enrolment and giving headings to your closest polling station where you need to go to cast your vote on the National Voter Registration Day.
